Not everyone wants to be or should be using medication with each migraine attack (Hello MOH). And for those with one migraine a month sometimes GP’s are not all that keen on doing preventative medication so here at MNZ we have compiled a list of natural therapies to help you manage.

Hydration:

  • Powerade - little sips

  • Mizone

  • Gatorade

Food/Teas:

  • Green Tea

  • Ginger

  • Caffeine (Coke or Coffee at first sign of attack)

  • Curiously strong peppermints

  • Barkley’s tastefully intense mints in ginger flavour (no mint)

  • Peppermint - few drops in a bath/on your temples

  • Ginger - Nausea
